MILAM Continuing Education Credits
The Military Additive Manufacturing Summit (MIlAM) supports the professional development of the advanced manufacturing and engineering community.
For SME active holders of Certified Manufacturing Technologist (CMfgT) and Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) credentials through the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).
Per SME’s policy:
- One (1) recertification credit hour is granted per hour of qualifying conference attendance.
- Topics covered must align with the SME Body of Knowledge—including areas such as additive manufacturing, materials science, design for additive, and digital manufacturing—many of which are central to the MIlAM agenda.
If you are currently certified through SME:
- You may claim recertification credit for your participation in MIlAM.
- You are responsible for maintaining records of your attendance, session topics, and total hours for submission during your recertification process.
- A certificate of attendance will be available upon request after the event to support your documentation needs.
- SME does not formally pre-approve conferences
